Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by John Klasen at 7:00PM.

Roll Call

Present:            Judy Benz, Ron Blohowiak, John Klasen, John Krawczyk

Mary Jo Kussow, Skip Lee, Brian Peterson, Dale Warpinski

 

 

1.                  Approval of Minutes from Meeting Held June 14, 2006
A motion was made by Ron Blohowiak to approve the minutes from the
June 14, 2006 meeting.  Seconded by Skip Lee.  Motion carried unanimously.

2.                  Pond on property located on Lost Dauphin and Golden Glow Rd/Red Lewis
Red Lewis was present to propose a 100’x200’ pond which will be filled with fish.  Mr. Lewis stated the pond depth is planned to be 15-18 feet in the center and it will be clay lined. The pond site consists of 13 acres and there is a well on the property. A motion was made by Dale Warpinski to approve the pond to be placed on parcel L-149.  Seconded by John Krawczyk.  Motion carried unanimously.

3.                  1-Lot CSM for Verna Kussow
Larry Blatchford from Mau & Associates was present to propose a 1-lot CSM on Golden Glow Road for Verna Kussow.  The new lot is being created from parcel L-78 and consists of 1.50 acres.  The parcel will remain agricultural until such time it is sold to a person not within the family on the farm.  A motion was made by John Krawczyk to approve the CSM.  Seconded by Brian Peterson.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

4.                  Site Plan for West  DePere Elementary School
Jeff Balhling with Rettler Corp was present to propose a site plan for West DePere Elementary School.  Discussion was held on the storm water ponds on the site.  Skip Lee expressed concern over the ponds and the depth.  Mr. Bahling stated the ponds are required by the DNR and will be approximately 4’-6’ deep in the center and will have safety shelves in them.  West DePere School Superintendent, Lanny Tibaldo, stated the school will hold 600-650 students and the property does have room for future expansion if necessary.  A motion was made by Skip Lee to approve the site plan as presented contingent the storm water management plan is approved by the town engineer.  Motion seconded by Mary Jo Kussow.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

5.                  Preliminary Plat for Hemlock Creek/Seidl
Dave Schmalz from McMahon Associates and Developer, Steve Seidl were present to propose a preliminary plat to be known as Hemlock Creek consisting of 58 lots for single family homes.  The development is planned to be in five phases with the first phase being of those lots adjacent to the new West DePere Elementary School Site.  There was some discussion on the future development of the next phases.  The Board requested an area development plan of the entire area.  A motion was made by Skip Lee to approve the preliminary plat of Hemlock Creek contingent an Area Development Plan be brought in to show the future road layout of the remaining development area.  Motion seconded by Dale Warpinski.  Motion carried.
 

6.                  Request to rezone a portion of Parcel L-375, L-376, L-376-1 and L-377 from Agricultural to Residential to accommodate the proposed Hemlock Creek Subdivision consisting of single family homes
A motion was made by Mary Jo Kussow to approve a request to move forward on rezoning the above mentioned parcels for the purpose of accommodating single family homes consistent with the proposed plat of Hemlock Creek Subdivision.  Motion seconded by Brian Peterson.  Motion carried unanimously.

7.                  4-Lot CSM and road pattern for Gene Micke
Dick Huxford was present to propose a 4-lot CSM for Gene Micke.  All lots were consistent with the town ordinance.  A motion was made by Ron Blohowiak to approve the CSM as presented.  Motion seconded by John Krawczyk.  Motion carried unanimously.

A motion was made by John Krawczyk to adjourn the meeting.  Seconded by Ron Blohowiak.  Motion carried.  The meeting adjourned at 8:20PM.
