Dog License
The owner of a dog more than 5 months of age on January 1 of any year, or 5 months of age within the license year, shall annually, or on or before the date the dog becomes 5 months of age, obtain a dog license. Contact the Town Business Office for fee amounts. No dog license will be issued until a certificate of rabies vaccination issued by a veterinarian has been presented.
The minimum dog license tax is $5.00 for a neutered male dog or spayed female dog, upon presentation of evidence that the dog is neutered or spayed and $10.00 for an un-neutered male dog or unspayed female dog.
A dog license may be obtained at the Town's Business Office located at 2595 French Road in the Town of Lawrence.
