The Town of Lawrence contracts with Veolia Environmental Services for curbside trash and recycling services provided to town residents.

Trash

Pickup

Trash is picked up every Monday and must be set at the curb no later than 6:00 am to ensure pickup.  When a holiday falls on a Monday, the trash is picked up on the following day.

Trash containers can be obtained by contacting the Town Business Office at 920-336-9131.

Automated trucks are used to pick up the trash.  It is important that the trash container is placed at the curb facing the street.  The lid must be closed on the container.  To allow the truck sufficient space to pick up the container, it is necessary to place the container a minimum of four to five feet from any other object.  Do not place container within four to five feet of another container, mailbox, vehicle, etc. or your trash will not be picked up.  If possible, it would be best if you would place your trash container and recycling container on opposite sides of your driveway.

Preparation

All trash should be bagged and placed in the 95 gallon container provided by the Town.  The lid must be closed on the container for the automated truck to pick up the container.  Trash will not be picked up unless it is in the container.

Special Pickups

Arrangements can be made for large items or items in excess of 50 pounds by contacting Veolia Environmental Services at 920-983-3341 or 1-800-279-1930.  An additional cost determined by Veolia is required for special trash pickups.  Special pickups are required for items such as furniture, appliances, construction items, etc.
