Tips from the Fire Department

*** We would like to remind our residents and business that in the event you need the Fire Department or an Ambulance, to please call 911. Even though you don’t feel it is an emergency, 911 is the fastest and most efficient way for us to provide services to you. The non-emergency number to call is 920-391-7450. Calling the Town Hall may create a delayed response to something that truly is an emergency. ***

House number

With the summer season drawing to a close and we all start to do our fall clean up, the Lawrence Fire Dept. would like remind our residents and businesses of a couple very important safety tips.

We usually don’t give our address a second thought when pulling into our driveway. But one of the best things you can do to easily be located during an emergency is to make sure your house number is able to be quickly identified by emergency responders. Make sure landscaping is cut back along the house, the numbers are not faded or missing, and most importantly, make certain the numbers are large enough to be easily read from the road. If you live on a long driveway, ensure the house numbers are posted some place near the end of the driveway.
