What information do I need to submit to the Town of Lawrence regarding swimming pools?

  1. Accessory Building Permit Application
  2. Location of the swimming pool, hot tub, or spa on the lot showing the distance from the property lines, eaPoolsements, and structures.
  3. Location of overhead and/or underground wiring in relation to the swimming pool, hot tub, or spa.
  4. Dimensions and depth of swimming pool, hot tub, or spa
  5. Type, location, and height of fence either if existing or proposed
  6. In-ground pools and above ground pools less than 48” above grade require a fence per Ordinance 300-23.
  7. Identify any easements on property (if any)

**Be aware of easements – utility, drainage, etc.

  3. Height of fence and type of materials used
  4. Intersections of streets, roads, highways, alleys
    and driveways
  5. Corner visibility range shall be shown when required
  6. Identify any easements on property (if any)

**Restrictive covenants may have restrictions in addition to any Town Ordinance regarding materials, size, etc.
