We are now soliciting proposals from those interested in purchasing the existing single family home at 2442 Little Rapids Road, near the intersection with the new Lawrence Parkway. The home is just south of the Town Hall.

A number of updates and infrastructure projects have been completed in the vicinity of this property and we're now ready to identify a buyer!

We are not accepting traditional offers to purchase at this time, but rather we are utilizing a sealed proposal process with submissions due Tuesday August 3rd, 2021 at 10:00am. We anticipate this process will identify a successful party to negotiate an agreement to sell this home to, with the intent to close the transaction before the end of 2021.

The home for sale is located on Lot 2 on the attached CSM.

There is not an advertised asking price at this time, though we do expect significant interest in this home.

The Town purchased the property adjacent to the Town Hall in order to utilize the large building for Public Works equipment/vehicle storage. We have since extended municipal water/sanitary sewer to the home and split the property into multiple lots. The existing home and detached garage are available for purchase on a new 0.88 acre lot.

An additional vacant lot with water/sewer available will be for sale in the near future with an expectation for a new home to be constructed on this nearby lot (Lot 3 on CSM). We anticipate additional lots zoned R-2 for new duplexes on Shady Court will be available in 2022, as well (to be created on Lot 4).
