Town of Lawrence

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) in conjunction with the Hobart/ Lawrence Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will coordinate a Prescription Drug Take Back Initiative taking place throughout Wisconsin. The focus is on removing potentially dangerous pharmaceutical substances from our state's medicine cabinets and preventing them from going into our water supply. On April 26th, 2019 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the Town of Lawrence and the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department will be collecting household medications for disposal. Please clear your home of these no longer needed medications and we will dispose of them for you. It's FREE! :)

No businesses allowed. All waste pharmaceuticals must be generated by a household.
Participants may dispose of solid, non-liquid medication(s) by removing the medication from its container and disposing of it directly into a clear sealable plastic bag. Plastic pill containers will not be collected; those can be recycled by you at home. Blister packages are acceptable without the medications being removed.
Your medications can be dropped off at the below listed address. Thank you for your help with this important initiative.
